The Mammoto Lab has successfully fabricated implantable, biomaterial-free pellets of human adipose-derived mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) that continuously release beneficial factors in vivo and function as a “living drug” within the body. We believe this system has the potential to be a game-changing strategy in MSC-based therapy.
